A message from Alex

When I started my first job as a software engineer, I realized that I missed the theoretical and collaborative aspects of large-scale problem solving. I was interested in using tech as one of my tools for solving problems, and not as my only method. Product management allows me to collaborate with multiple teams, while my technical background helps me gain trust and problem solve with software engineers.

In my career and while at Wellesley, I've experienced a lot of failure. At Wellesley, our problem sets had right and wrong answers; however, in the real world, failure occurs more frequently, since there are often multiple solutions or no solutions at all.

Failure can be a good option, as long as you can reverse engineer your mistakes and improve the next time.
