A message from Barakah

I chose to go into tech because it's a highly collaborative field that gives you a plethora of career paths to choose from. I initially started my career as a software engineer and when I realized I want to shift my career, I was able to do that more easily due to my technical background. As a product manager, I get to continue working closely with engineering but am also constantly collaborating with additional stakeholders such as marketing, design, and sales. There are a lot of dynamic opportunities that exist when you have a background in tech!
