A message from Hilary

There are so many ways to be a valuable engineer, and I didn't realize that starting out. I was surrounded by people who liked the process of solving problems and it didn't matter as much to them which problem they solved, but I was really motivated by solving problems that I cared about for people who I could see. I eventually realized that I'm more of a product engineer than a platform one, and eventually found my way to mobile app development. Pay attention to what problems you'd like to help solve, and whose lives you want to help support, and that will make work so much more rewarding!

Photography, Ballet (watching), Dancing (around my apartment mostly), being a Temple Guardian at Burning Man, K-Dramas, BTS, The Rose.
