You have so much to offer. As someone starting out in tech you may feel like you know nothing, but your openness, kindness, and willingness to learn will take you far. All of your lived experience, regardless of whether you think it's relevant, is valuable perspective in any context. You’re where you are for a reason! Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions because I can guarantee at least one other person is wondering the same thing. You’ll feel much more confident if you can get your questions answered.

A valuable skill

Giving and receiving feedback. Critiques in my studio art classes at Wellesley were invaluable practice to explain my thinking, be constructive, and not take things personally.
