Tech is always changing and so will your career. People in tech come from all different backgrounds bringing different skills and different perspectives. That's what makes this field so interesting and innovative. There are so many different career paths to explore and tech provides something for everyone. Find what you love and are passionate about and be open to exploring that passion in a variety of roles. Careers are rarely linear - it's the winding path that opens up opportunities you never knew existed.

Valuable skill she regularly uses

Empathy. It's so important to understand who you're designing for and why. People use tech in different ways and for different reasons. Understanding your users is critical to creating something that is usable and accessible to all.
