A very valuable skill that I learned the hard way is to always lead with context. Clearly communicate your assumptions, goals, and requests, whether that be for a project or your career growth. Very often, people learn too late in their careers that they need to manage their career growth with the same level of collaboration, planning, and communication as they manage projects.

Hobbies and interests

I'm a former dancer, I studied Russian at Wellesley, and I love learning random facts about evolution, anthropology, and how language shapes culture.
